This Privacy Policy explains how Marcel Bax ("we", "us") handles information in connection with the mobile game Robots (the "App").
The App uses Google AdMob (part of Google's Mobile Ads SDK) to display advertising, including interstitial ads. To do this, Google and its advertising partners may automatically collect and process:
This data is collected and processed by Google and its partners under their own privacy policies, not by us directly:
On first launch, users in the European Economic Area, the UK, and other applicable regions are shown a consent screen (via Google's User Messaging Platform) before any personalized advertising takes place. You can change your choice at any time from Settings → Ad Privacy Settings inside the App.
We do not require or request your name, email address, phone number, or any other directly identifying information. The App does not include chat, user accounts, or any feature that would let us collect user-generated content.
Your high score and preferences (theme, which side the on-screen controls are on) are saved in the App's local storage on your device only. This data is never transmitted to us and is deleted if you uninstall the App.
The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction) and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us using the details below so we can address it.
If you are located in the EEA or UK, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) / UK GDPR applies. Where processing depends on your consent (such as personalized advertising), the legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR); certain basic ad delivery, fraud prevention, and security processing may instead rely on legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
You have the right to:
Because most of the data described above is collected directly by Google as an independent controller, requests about that specific data (e.g. advertising identifiers) may need to be directed to Google as well as to us.
Depending on your state, you may have the right to know what personal information is collected about you, to request deletion of that information, to correct inaccurate information, and to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral (interest-based) advertising — which can include the kind of ad identifier sharing described above.
You can opt out of personalized/interest-based advertising in the App at any time via Settings → Ad Privacy Settings. We do not sell personal information for money, and we do not otherwise sell or share personal information outside of the advertising functionality described in this policy.
Google and its advertising partners may process data in the United States or other countries. Where required, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) as described in Google's own privacy documentation linked above.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
